A company you can look up
Two Lions Electric works out of a unit on 1st Street West in North Vancouver, and most of its work happens within twenty minutes of it — Lonsdale, Lynn Valley, Deep Cove, Edgemont, and over the bridge into Ambleside and the British Properties.
The company was founded in 2021. The people in it have been working in BC electrical since 2010, which is the more useful of the two numbers: the North Shore's housing stock is mostly 1950s to 1970s, and the difference between an electrician who has opened a hundred of those panels and one who has not shows up in the first ten minutes of a service call.
The work splits about evenly. Residential is panel and service upgrades, home wiring and rewiring, lighting, EV chargers, smart-home integration and the troubleshooting calls that come in when a breaker will not stay closed. Commercial is office and retail fit-outs, energy-efficient lighting retrofits, standby generators, and scheduled maintenance for property managers who would rather find a problem on a Tuesday than at closing time.
How a job runs does not change. Someone looks at it before quoting it. Circuits get labelled. The space gets left clean, because someone is sleeping in it tonight.
